Vendor Guidelines
Art is Lit Vendor Guidelines
Â
At Art is Lit Online Marketplace, we celebrate creativity, originality, and artistic expression. To keep our marketplace fair, authentic, and inspiring, all artists and vendors must follow these guidelines when sharing and selling their work.
1. Original Creations Only
- You may only list and sell artworks that you have personally created.
- Selling or reselling items created by someone else is not permitted.
- Copies, replicas, or unauthorized reproductions of another artist’s work are strictly prohibited.
2. No Plagiarism or Misrepresentation
- Plagiarism — presenting someone else’s art as your own — is not tolerated under any circumstances.
- Always represent your work truthfully, including medium, dimensions, and condition.
- If your work is part of a collaboration, credit all artists involved.
3. Respect Intellectual Property
- Do not use copyrighted material (e.g., characters, logos, images) unless you hold the legal rights or permissions.
- Art is Lit reserves the right to remove any listings that infringe on intellectual property rights.
4. Transparency & Honesty
- Use clear photos that accurately represent your work.
- Provide honest descriptions so buyers know exactly what they are purchasing.
- Do not mislead buyers with false claims or altered representations.
5. Accountability & Community Standards
- By selling on Art is Lit, you affirm that all works are your own original creations.
- Vendors who violate these guidelines may have their listings removed, accounts suspended, or permanently banned from the marketplace.
- We encourage artists to report suspected plagiarism or misuse so we can protect the integrity of our creative community.
Our Commitment
Art is Lit is a platform for authentic, original art. By following these guidelines, you help us create a safe, fair, and inspiring space where creativity thrives, and every artist’s voice is respected.
