You may request the deletion of your Art is Lit account and the personal information associated with it at any time.

We may request additional information to verify your identity before processing your request.

When your request is approved, we will delete or anonymise, where appropriate:
- Your Art is Lit account
- Profile information
- Artist biography
- Store profile
- Contact information
- Saved addresses
- Social login connection (Google or Facebook)
- Marketing preferences
- Wishlist information
- Any other personal information that is no longer required
4. Information We May Retain
In certain circumstances, we may be legally required to retain some information, including but not limited to:
- Order history
- Payment records
- Tax records
- Accounting records
- Fraud prevention records
- Information required to comply with legal obligations
- Records necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our Terms and Conditions
Where information must be retained, it will only be kept for the period required by applicable law.
5. Google and Facebook Login
If you registered or logged in using Google or Facebook, deleting your Art is Lit account will remove the connection between your social account and Art is Lit.
Deleting your Art is Lit account does not delete your Google or Facebook account.
If you wish to revoke access independently, you can do so through your Google or Facebook account settings.
6. Processing Time
We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days, although some requests may take longer where required by law or where additional verification is necessary.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Request access to your personal information
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Restrict or object to processing
- Request a copy of your information in a portable format
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
